My name is Phill Hunt, and I am the founder of Mobikats, an app development agency specializing in mobile apps, AI, and virtual reality. For over 15 years, our team in Mayfield, East Sussex, has delivered award-winning solutions that delight users and drive results. Our client portfolio spans from ambitious startups to global corporations, including Microsoft, the NHS, VWG, and Benefit Cosmetics. My personal journey in technology spans over 30 years. From building some of the first commercial internet sites to serving as a group program manager at Microsoft and heading up research at Yahoo, I’ve had a front-row seat to the tech rollercoaster. My passion has always been at the intersection of human-computer interaction, and how evolving technologies—from the web and mobile to AI and mixed reality—can deliver positive change in our lives and businesses.
Beyond Mobikats, I’m a co-founder of SecureSafety, an AI business focused on using machine learning and camera technology to manage health and safety on large industrial sites. I also enjoy mentoring founders and serving as a fractional CTO, helping innovators with great ideas navigate the complexities of building and scaling a tech business. In my spare time, I can often be found on a river, either fly fishing or engaged in environmental work, and I’m a keen cook.
